Barolo Riserva Ricossa
COLOUR
Deep garnet red with brick-orange reflections, characteristic of mature Nebbiolo. The colour intensity and subtle evolution at the rim reflect both age and refinement.
AROMA
Complex and aristocratic bouquet with aromas of dried rose, violet, and red cherry. Layers of tobacco, leather, and truffle emerge with aeration, joined by notes of licorice, spice, and forest floor. Subtle undertones of vanilla, cocoa, and cedar from oak ageing complete a beautifully evolved aromatic profile.
PALATE
Full-bodied, structured, and elegant. The palate opens with flavours of cherry, plum, and dried fig supported by firm yet polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Notes of spice, tobacco, and earthy minerality lead to a long, persistent finish with savoury depth and noble character. The texture is powerful yet graceful, showcasing the classic balance of great Barolo.
CELLARING
Outstanding now for its harmony and maturity, yet capable of further evolution for 10–15 years, developing more pronounced notes of leather, truffle, and balsamic spice.
